London Hibernian FC - London’s Most Successful Irish Football Club...
London Hibernian FC was established in July 2021, formerly known as UCC Diaspora F.C. which was formed in 2010 by four University College Cork graduates who relocated to London. Following multiple retirements and players returning to their native Ireland, the club took the plunge to rebrand as London Hibernian FC with the aim of recruiting new players who move to London.
The club has been very successful over the past 10 years including 2 South Wimbledon & District Premier League Titles, 2 League Cups and 2 London FA Junior Cup final appearances. We are extremely proud of our players' individual achievements which include; FA Youth Cup winners, underage Irish internationals, Collingwood Cup winners, Crowley Cup winners, League of Ireland appearances and Irish League appearances.
London Hibernian FC will continue to play in the South Wimbledon District Premier League and compete in the London FA Junior Cup during the 2020/21 season.
Our club predominantly comprises Irish expats however we welcome football players of all backgrounds who wish to continue playing football whilst broadening their social and professional network in London. The club is currently made up of players from all over Ireland including Cork, Dublin, Waterford, Galway, Donegal and Down. We are equally proud of the contributions made by our players from the Bahamas, Manchester and Oldham! Our vision as a club is two-fold. Firstly, we want to compete for trophies. We have won our league twice in the last 4 years and made it to the final of the London FA Junior Cup twice in the last 5 years. Secondly, we want to build a club that is proud of its social network within South West London for all levels/ages of players.
If you would like to find out more about the club and/or get in contact about playing please reach out to us on any of our social channels or via email.
